Rows of wooden mussel farms resting in the calm waters of Fangar Bay in the Ebro Delta

A PHOTOGRAPHIC PROJECT BY

Ebro Delta

I'm a photojournalist based near the Ebro Delta, working on a long-term project documenting its people, communities and the changing relationship between land and water.

I'd like to meet people who live and work in the Delta and follow their stories over time. If you have something to share, or know someone I should meet, please get in touch.

For generations, people have shaped the Ebro Delta: draining its marshes, irrigating its fields, working its bays and salt pans.

Now the coastline is retreating and the sea is moving inland. The people who depend on this landscape are responding, and so are the institutions that manage it.

Ebro Delta is a long-term documentary photography project begun in 2026, following individuals, families and communities over time: how they live and work here, and the decisions that will shape the Delta's future.
